Third-Party AI Providers

Story and image generation is powered by third-party AI APIs, including providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. When a story is generated, relevant profile data (such as a child's name, age, interests, and preferences) is included in the generation request sent to these providers.

We use paid API tiers with these providers, which are governed by data processing agreements that restrict the use of inputs for model training. Your data is not used to train third-party AI models. We review and maintain these agreements as part of our ongoing compliance obligations.

Sundrip accounts are created and managed by adults — parents, guardians, and teachers. Children do not create accounts or submit information directly. All children's profile data is entered by the account holder and is used exclusively for story personalization.
